Despite their different backgrounds, they quickly found common ground in their passion for solving complex technical challenges. Jared's rural upbringing instilled in him resourcefulness and perseverance, while Furkhan brought determination and adaptability from his immigrant roots. Their collaboration was a natural fit, and they soon realized that together, they could achieve more than they could alone.

Jared Manz
With nearly two decades of leadership experience in the global energy sector, Jared Manz is an accomplished executive, entrepreneur, and consultant. Specializing in strategy, commercial business development, and engineering, Jared has successfully led billion-dollar commercial transactions, projects and complex business transformations across North America, the Middle East, and North Africa.
Jared began his career in mechanical engineering, quickly ascending to senior commercial roles at Royal Dutch Shell, where he made significant impacts in identifying and delivering commercial M&A deals and mega-projects. His ability to navigate and lead large-scale, cross-cultural teams Internationally has been a hallmark of his success, from helping pioneer the LNG industry in Canada to managing high-stakes divestments in Egypt during unprecedented global challenges.
As a consultant, Jared offers his deep expertise to organizations seeking strategic guidance, commercial insight, technical assurance, and innovative solutions to complex problems. He is passionate about fostering trusting relationships, simplifying complex challenges, and driving value through a learning mindset. His consultancy services are ideal for companies needing ad-hoc advice or strategic insights to unlock new opportunities and enhance operational efficiency.
Jared holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan, where he graduated with Great Distinction. A native of Saskatchewan, Canada, he brings a grounded, pragmatic approach to his work, shaped by his upbringing in a farming community.
Outside of his professional endeavours, Jared is dedicated to personal development and advocates altruism, energy, and cultural exploration. He is an avid cyclist, swimmer, and yogi, continually seeking new ways to balance professional excellence with personal growth.
Furkhan Dandia
Furkhan Dandia is an accomplished professional with nearly 20 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry and has held various technical and business roles. He has successfully executed and managed multi-million dollar deals in the finished products landscape across Canada, giving him a deep understanding of the country's energy supply chain. With a Mechanical Engineering degree from McGill University and an MBA from the University of Alberta, Furkhan brings a solid technical background and strategic business acumen.
Furkhan’s MBA specialization in entrepreneurship has equipped him to identify and capitalize on innovative opportunities while driving business success in leadership, finance, and people management. His diverse skill set makes him a valuable asset at the negotiating table, offering fresh perspectives grounded in technical knowledge and entrepreneurial insight.
In a bold career shift, Furkhan has transitioned into the mental health space, a field where he now applies his skills in counselling, conflict resolution, and mediation. Having earned a master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, Furkhan now works with individuals struggling with addiction, anger management, and entrepreneurial challenges, guiding them through personal growth and mental well-being.
A passionate mental health advocate, Furkhan also hosts the popular podcast EZ Conversations, where he has interviewed hundreds of guests and shared valuable insights on health, wellness, and personal development with a global audience. Furkhan emphasizes the incredible human ability to overcome adversity and find purpose in the struggle. As a purpose-driven individual, Furkhan loves to talk about finding meaning in one’s life.
When not working or in his studio recording podcast episodes, Furkhan is an avid traveller, jiu-jitsu practitioner, and lifelong learner. He is keenly interested in philosophy and history and constantly seeks new challenges. He is dedicated to personal improvement and helping others do the same.
